Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios acquires rights to hit French comedic game show “BIG CRAZY GAME NIGHT” from WeMake

Los Angeles / Paris – March. 9, 2021

For immediate release.

Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios has acquired the rights to hit comedy game show The Big Crazy Game Night (Le Morning Night) from the French-Paris based creative, production and distribution studio WeMake (Bouchra Réjani, Moe Bennani).

The show was co-developed and co-produced by WeMake and Princesse Béli (Benjamin Morgaine, Lionel Dutemple). The series launched on March 19, 2020 on broadcaster M6 in France and quickly became the biggest M6’s PrimeTime launch in 2020 (29% on the commercial targets- 38% on the 25-34 demo- 43% on the 11-14 demo*).

In each episode, two celebrity teams go head-to-head to compete in zany, fun and sometimes irreverent challenges – from performing karaoke with “alternate” lyrics to screening hilarious, awkward or cringe-inducing videos without laughing – and many other comedic exploits that push the envelope. The winning entertainer of each episode will get some valuable airtime immediately after the show, while the losers will be amusingly punished….

“The Big Crazy Game Night is a fun and modern comedy-game show. This co-viewing format is definitely appealing to all target groups. We are thrilled to see our format travel to the US and launch this new chapter with Scott Lonker and his amazing team » Bouchra Réjani

Added Wheelhouse Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Scott Lonker, “We love this show and have some big ideas for adapting the format for the U.S. – it’s a great twist on the comedy gameshow that we can’t wait to take to market.”
