Babies, Biology, Business: how far will one woman go to become a mother?

Winner of Best Actress at Gullruten 2023 Awards.

Elin and Bjørn are planning to adopt. Their relationship will not survive any more IVF. But Elin struggles to give up completely. As a gynecologist with her own fertility clinic, she is surrounded by hope and opportunity. She begins treating herself in secret. It becomes an obsession. She risks her clinic, her marriage and the relationship with her stepdaughter Stella. When she finally gives up and starts to take back her life, Stella falls ill, and everything changes. The question now is not how far Elin will go to become a mother, but how far Bjørn will go for the child he already has.
