Patrick Wachsberger’s Picture Perfect and Federation Entertainment join forces to create PICTURE PERFECT FEDERATION
The Joint Venture will be based in Los Angeles and focus on the Development and Production of Television Content for both US and International Markets.

It was announced today entertainment industry stalwart Patrick Wachsberger and his Picture Perfect Entertainment have entered into a joint venture with Pascal Breton and Lionel Uzan of studio Federation Entertainment to form Picture Perfect Federation. The new entity will be dedicated to the development and production of premium television series for the U.S. marketplace on all platforms as well as engaging in international co-productions.
The team of Wachsberger, who most recently served as co-Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture group, and Breton and Uzan Chairman and CEO of Federation Entertainment respectively, brings decades of combined creative and financial expertise to the venture as well as a deep understanding of financing and the direct relationships to engage production and financial partners from around the globe. Picture Perfect Federation will operate in a manner that puts story first, creating solid partnerships with talent and producers around the world operating with the ability to be innovative and nimble.
Wachsberger and Federation’s Head of US Television, Ashley Stern will be based in Los Angeles representing the newly formed venture.

I therefore could not find a better group to partner with than my friends at Federation who in a very short time have created an exciting and game changing company.”

Patrick Wachsberger has been Co-Chairman of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group for the past six years, joining the Company when Lionsgate acquired Summit Entertainment in January 2012. Named as a Game Changer at the 2016 Zurich Film Festival and recipient of CineEurope’s International Distributor of the Year award in 2018 , Patrick Wachsberger has risen to become one of the leading international film executives in the world during his 30-year motion picture industry career. In 2017, Wachsberger was awarded the prestigious honor of Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight in the Order of Arts and Letters).
As Co-Chairman at Lionsgate, Wachsberger oversaw all aspects of the studios feature film acquisition, production and distribution and was responsible for leading the Company’s motion picture business around the world. During his tenure, Lionsgate’s feature film slate generated nearly $10 billion at the global box office over the past five years, led by the critically-acclaimed breakout sensation Wonder, the global box office phenomenon La La Land, winner of six Academy Awards ®, double Oscar® winner Hacksaw Ridge, and the blockbuster Hunger Games, John Wick, and Now You See Me franchises. Other recent hits include The Hitman’s Bodyguard, The Big Sick (in partnership with Amazon Studios) and The Shack.
Under Patrick Wachsberger’s leadership, the Company has built a global distribution infrastructure encompassing nearly 20 output deals in major territories, including the successful 50/50 IDC joint venture in Latin America and Lionsgate’s flourishing self-distribution operations in the U.K. The Company is also continuing to grow its film business in China and India.
The creation of Picture Perfect Federation enhances Federation’s growing business worldwide, where the European production company and studio has fifteen successful series in production in twelve countries around the world. Meanwhile Federation US has a slate of series for global audiences including the recently announced launch of the adaptation of The Banker’s Wife, the best-seller from Cristina Alger. Developed in partnership with Viking’s, Pose EP Sherry Marsh, the series is headed up by a trio of leading talents; showrunner Meredith Stiehm (Homeland, The Bridge, Cold Case); director Lesli Linka Glatter (Twin Peaks, West Wing, Mad Men, Homeland); and actress Rosamund Pike in the leading role (Gone Girl, Hostiles, An Education, A Private War). All three will also serve as executive producers of the series. A number of additional series have been set up in the US such as Ibiza, a thriller created by Ryan Engle (Rampage) and director Jaume Collet Serra, and Peter Landesman’s American adaptation of Canal +’s number one series Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau), for which Federation is the distributor and co-producer with TOP The Oligarchs Production.
