Federation Entertainment is delighted to announce the arrival of Baptiste Coelho (ex CFO at Backup Media) as the group’s Chief Financial Officer.
Under the responsibility of Benoît Lacombe – Federation Entertainment’s COO, Baptiste will oversee administrative and accounting operations, and ensure financial reporting as well as the group’s treasury.
In a context of rapid growth, Baptiste will play a strategic role in consolidating the group’s structures, and in optimizing its processes and financing tools.
Baptiste has graduated from ESSEC in 2008, and is a member of its Media & Entertainment chair. He has started his career at Warner Bross Entertainment as a financial analyst. Since then, Baptiste has worked as Assistant Manager of the Financial Division at Orange, and as CFO at Backup Media from 2009 to 2016. Before joining Federation, he has served as Deputy CFO at the unicorn Drivy, from April 2016 to October 2017.
Federation Entertainment, launched by President and Founder Pascal Breton in 2013, has quickly established itself as top indie European studio and production company. Federation Entertainment currently has 12 series in production including the second season of Netflix France’s first original series “Marseille,” starring Gerard Depardieu with acclaimed writer Dan Franck and director Florent Emilio Siri; the award-winning original series in production on a third season, “Le Bureau des Légendes/The Bureau.”, a CANAL+ Creation Originale series created by Éric Rochant and produced by Alex Berger and Éric Rochant for TOP-The Oligarchs Productions, in association with Federation Entertainment; Oliver Goldstick’s “The Collection,” a co-production with Lookout Point for BBC Worldwide and Amazon’s first UK original drama; the award winning Israeli thriller, “Hostages” for Channel 10 & Canal +; Hit Belgian drama, “The Break”; breakout Finnish series for YLE, “Bordertown.”, « Bad Banks », a thriller series in the world of high-finance produced by Letterbox Filmproducktion and Iris Productions for ZDF and Arte; and « Unit 42 », a detective series of one-hour episodes produced by Left Field Ventures and RTBF.
