FIND ME IN PARIS Heads to BLE with a slew of Licensing Deals

Paris, Sept. 6th 2018

Cottonwood Media and leading French brand management agency France tv Distribution are delighted to announce a remarkable list of licensees for premium tween drama FIND ME IN PARIS, in key categories across publishing, stationary, homewares, apparel, toys and footwear.

Making an impressive mark in the publishing & paper goods category, France tv distribution have signed three separate deals for: a stand-alone tri-monthly magazine with Milan, part of the Bayard Publishing Group; Comic Books with Soleil, an imprint of Groupe Delcourt; novels and albums with leading publisher Nathan.

In apparel and footwear, Sahinler has come on board for a 2019 Autumn-Winter collection of daywear, nightwear, lingerie and swimwear, while Royer will roll out slippers, socks, shoes and boots. In toys, industry leader Ravensburger has snapped up puzzles and, finally CTI has kicked off a homewares with a line of bed linen, blankets, cushions and bathroom accessories.

In addition to the above agreements, France tv distribution is in final negotiation with top licensees across all categories including back to school, fashion bags, food & beverages and more.

“Thanks to main theme of music, dance, drama and fashion Find me in Paris offers many different opportunities to connect with its tween audience,” commented Aude De La Villarmois, Director of Licensing at France tv distribution. “We had an overwhelmingly positive response from the licensees who are thrilled to have a brand of such high standard to work with. The high production budget, on-location filming in Paris and the Opera Garnier, and the world-class choreography, have made this a compelling brand across all categories.”

In addition to France 4, the series has been widely sold to top broadcasters worldwide such as Hulu (USA, the SVOD platform’s first ever original live-action tween show), NBC Universal (USA), Disney (France and Italy), ABC (Australia), and VRT (Belgium).

Find me in Paris  is a co-production between Cottonwood Media (David Michel, Zoé Carrera Allaix, Cecile Lauritano), ZDF, ZDF Enterprises, and the National Opera of Paris. Commissioning broadcaster and production partner ZDF hold the German Licensing rights. France tv distribution is poised to bring consumer products to the French market in spring 2019, following its launch on France 4 in early 2nd quarter of 2019.

FIND ME IN PARIS follows the story of Lena Grisky, a young dancer and student at the prestigious school at the Paris Opera. But Lena has a secret: accidentally hurled into 2018 by her fiancé Henri, she is actually a Russian dancer poised to become the next young star of the ballet world, in 1905.
